Web Design Internships Brisbane

Have you been dreaming of a career in the digital industry but unsure where to start?

Most job seekers and recruitment consultants alike will tell you that in today’s job market you need to have some kind of previous work experience to get your foot in the door for an interview.

The difficulty of course is that old adage of “what came first, the chicken or the egg”? How do you gain the work experience to get the job when you have not yet landed the job to get the experience?

The answer for anyone looking to break into the Graphic/Web Design, Web Development or Digital Marketing is the MyWork Intern Program.

The MyWork Intern Program is a great way to learn about career options with us or just gain that much needed on the job experience in a fun and fast paced digital company.

What types of internships are available?

MyWork have year-round intern opportunities for students looking to gain experience from Web Developer Internships, Digital Marketing/Content Writer Internships or Graphic/Web Design Internships in Brisbane.

How does the application process work?

To apply for one of our internships, you should submit your portfolio/resume and any relevant material to [email protected]. Your submission will be reviewed and if successful you will be asked to come in for a quick interview. Should you be successful following the interview stage, you may then be offered an internship opportunity with MyWork in your chosen discipline.

How long is the internship program and what are the hours?

Generally internships will be a maximum 30 working days in length. Hours are flexible however the general expectation would be normal business hours, Monday-Friday. This can of course be flexible to suit the individual intern’s requirements and can be discussed in the interview stage.

Is the internship paid?

All of MyWork’s internship placements are unpaid/voluntary as we focus on ensuring you get the maximum benefit from the provided supervision and training. Our goal is to ensure you get the most out of the experience which will ultimately help you on the path to your dream career.

Can I receive credit for my university for the internship?

In many cases yes, depending on the university requirements. Many universities encourage students to complete internships as part of a practical component of courses. We will always ensure everything possible is done to help meet such requirements during the placement, simply let us know your course’s requirements when you come for the interview.

What to expect from the internship program.
