The Solution

Urban+ have always had a passion for quality products and sustainability, and so they commissioned a major rebrand that made their philosophy the main focus of their image. Reload got on board to drive their digital marketing and recommended MyWork to take charge of the total overhaul of their ageing website redesign.

Our team worked closely with Urban+ and Reload during all stages of the project; the first of which involved a refresh of their exisiting website to reflect the new branding direction. The clients original branding was a vibrant lime green that made use of a thin cursive fonts which was now in stark contrast to the new sleek neurtal color scheme palette with bold simplified typeface of the brand refesh. MyWork completed and re-launched the Urban+ in time for an important conference where they planned to soft launch their new look.

During the second phase, MyWork undertook a complete rebuild and new design of the website based around Urban’s refocused company ethos. Featuring stunning environmental themes and emotive design elements, the redesign was not only a WordPress website, but also a WooCommerce online catalogue showcasing the full Urban+ range like never before. The new deisgn offered more usability for customers, especially when viewing products and accessing accurate quotes.

With a lot of the pages and URLs on the new website either changing or being repurposed, ensuring that the Search Engines knew where to direct the traffic from the previous ranking pages was the key focus for Reload during the SEO migration. Working closely with the team at MyWork, Reload were able to map out the process from end-to-end, starting with benchmarking all historical traffic data to check against post site migration and update.

Once they had the baseline, Reload then worked to protect it and generated a full redirection map for all URLs of the historical site to the new updated website. When the new website went live, MyWork and Reload worked together to ensure everything ran smoothly.
