All Areas Electrical are a Logan-based and family-owned electrical contracting company. In January 2021, the owner began looking for opportunities to grow the business beyond his regular customer base and word-of-mouth referrals. For this, he knew he needed both a brand new website and a means of reaching new customers in the domestic space.

With the highly competitive nature of electrical services on Google Ads – with clicks sometimes costing upwards of $20 each – it was important that our approach was able to work within a competitive market, but also affordable and realistic for a company without a multi-million dollar advertising budget.

The combination of a tightly managed Google Ads campaign, and a high-converting landing page designed to maximise conversions, allowed us to reach the ideal people at just the right moment and convert them into customers at a profitable Cost Per Lead.

Once we established a consistent level of high performance, we approached All Areas Electrical with a proposal to start scaling the campaign. The owner allowed us to increase the budget and widen the geographic targeting of the campaign, which supercharged the amount of leads we were able to generate while maintaining a profitable Cost Per Lead.

Throughout the first six months of the campaign – January 2021 to June – leads for the campaign increased by over 457%. Conversion rate was steadily improved to nearly 1 in 3, which allowed the campaign to remain profitable despite a high individual Cost Per Click.
While the campaign originally only targeted a small radius around the business’ address in Logan, it was carefully scaled up to cover all of Brisbane, allowing All Areas Electrical to capitalise on a huge market without breaking the bank.

The volume of leads being received through the campaign has been enough for All Areas Electrical to keep their schedule full, including a team of several crew members. And with conversions still rising every month, the future is looking very bright for this partnership.
