Hobbs Building and Interiors are a family owned and operated business that specialise in steel-frame, eco-friendly, custom-built homes. They offer a complete design and construct service, working with clients from planning to project completion.
With a very clear design vision for their website and some creative ideas that would require our designers to really think outside the box, MyWork knew it would be a challenge to create a site that truly reflected the business.
We worked closely with our customer, using our feedback process to ensure the website design was following the creative brief at every stage.
Hobbs Building wanted their eco-friendly business represented by minimalistic earthy tones, and had some specific elements that were custom designed such as the cursor, hover effects, the menu structure, the typefaces, and the blog.
As well as a fresh look and modern functionality, the site also needed additional features such as online payment functions, Google Calendar integration, and the ability to edit their own site.
The challenge was to create a site that was completely custom built, but still adhering to the brand guidelines. Our designers kept up with the creative process, developing a website that was highly functional and with a truly outstanding design.

While the custom design elements of the site were complex to create, our designers worked hard to ensure that it was user friendly from the back end, allowing the business to edit, update, and manage their own website.
Since the website launch they have noticed a significant increase in positive enquiries, in particular via Instagram, which filter through to Linktree and subsequent landing pages on their new site.
