ANZAC Day Parade

Looking to update their website in preparation for the 2025 parade, MyWork was honoured to be selected by ANZAC Day Parade to redevelop their website.
ANZAC Day Parade

The client

The official website for Brisbane’s ANZAC Day Parade – While we remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for freedom during the Dawn Services and other services of Remembrance, the ANZAC Day Parade is an opportunity to celebrate and recognise all those that have served and still continue to serve our country.
What was required

The brief

Improved usability
ANZAC Day Parade sought to upgrade their online presence, to make it easier for volunteers and participants alike to find the information they needed on the event.
Change of domain name
Rebranding slightly from ANZAC Day March to ANZAC Day Parader, they needed a seamless transition and redirect from one domain to the other.
Timing is key
With the parade date fast approaching, the new website needed to be completed and launched in time to allow volunteers to register and to provide the most up-to-date information for those watching or participating.
Content finesse
With such a huge event and thousands of participants to help coordinate, organisers needed the website text to be on point, simply worded, and easy to follow.
What MyWork did

The solution

To support the rebrand and modernisation of this iconic Brisbane event, MyWork partnered with the ANZAC Day Parade committee to deliver a thoughtful, functional, and timely new website. With the shift from “March” to “Parade,” MyWork handled the domain transition seamlessly, setting up proper redirects and maintaining SEO integrity to ensure no confusion or loss of traffic.

With thousands of participants and volunteers relying on accurate and accessible event information, MyWork created a clean, easy-to-navigate website experience. Content was carefully rewritten for clarity and ease of understanding—crucial for an event of this scale.

Despite tight deadlines with the parade fast approaching, MyWork delivered the new site on time, ensuring that volunteer registrations and event communications could proceed without a hitch. The result is a respectful and fit for purpose new website that reflects the spirit of ANZAC Day while supporting all who come together to remember, honour and serve.
