Located in Logan and situated halfway between Brisbane & the Gold Coast at Distillery Road Market stands South East Queensland’s newest brewery, Perentie Brewing Co. The award-winning and independently brewed beer using traditional German lager processes producing an unmistakably Australian taste.

With multiple moving parts going into the timing of the new website launch and the construction of the brewery itself, the Perentie Brewing team needed a reliable web designer who could move quickly and adapt to schedule changes.

Strategic multi-stage launch

Roll-out the new website across several stages including an initial landing page for customer interest and data collection, website launch and eventual ecommerce Shopify store.

As a fellow local Logan business, and having worked with the Distillery Road Market team on previous website projects, the team at MyWork were super excited about the opportunity to help shape Perentie’s online brand.

Helping the client select the right platform for the build was critical. Shopify was selected as the best fit for scalability and growth that would meet the needs of Perentie’s multi-stage launch and overall brand plan.

By moving quickly and proactively to progress the Shopify store design and build as far in advance as possible while waiting for key visual and written assets, MyWork were able to keep the website project on course and launch the website as soon as Perentie gave us the green light.

The results

Following the successful launch of both the website and the brewery in late 2023, the sights are now firmly set on launching Perentie’s ecommerce store in 2024, which will allow customers to purchase their favourite beer online.

Perentie has taken out a whopping 8 awards at the Royal Queensland Beer Awards 2024. Among their victories, Perentie claimed one-fifth of gold medals in the Lager category and emerged as the Category Trophy Winner (Gold) for Lagers.

With the next stage of their brand delivery on the horizon, we look forward to supporting Perentie’s ongoing success.
