The Queensland Firebirds are one of the most successful elite netball sides in Australian history, with three championships wins and multiple grand final appearances.

The QLD Firebirds team needed to choose a modern website platform for the build of their new website, on that would enable them to update and edit their website whenever they wanted.

A website design reflective of team performance

After back-to-back premiership wins, the Firebirds website needed an overhaul to better reflect their on court success.

A long term website partner

Following on from the Queensland Firebirds website, the team at Netball QLD were also looking for a reliable website partner to build out other websites for grassroots initiatives and second tier competitions.

Game day advertising & promotion

The Netball QLD team sort a digital partner who could not only handle their website requirements, but who could also assist with digital marketing.

Top tier scalable website hosting

With huge spikes in website traffic in the lead up to game days & televised events, the Queensland Firebirds website needed to be able to scale to handle demand.

What MyWork did

The solution

A real passion project for the MyWork team, we’ve loved being a part of the QLD Firebirds journey now for many years.

We recommended building the new website in WordPress and hosting on WP Engine, allowing for a website platform that could scale with time and as traffic to the website spiked during game days.

MyWork helped the Netball QLD team upskill quickly with WordPress editing, whilst also always being available to handle those tricky or last minute requests.

Netball QLD also engaged MyWork to create Google Remarketing Ad assets to help promote upcoming home games and increase ticket sales.
