Netball Queensland is the peak state sporting organization responsible for the governance, development, promotion and administration of netball throughout Queensland. Their premier netball team, the Queensland Firebirds, are one of the most successful elite netball sides in Australian history, with three championships wins and multiple grand final appearances.

The solution

A real passion project for the MyWork team, we’ve loved being a part of the Queensland Firebirds journey for many years now.

We recommended building the new website in WordPress and hosting on WP Engine, allowing for a website platform that could scale with time and as traffic to the website spiked during game days.

MyWork helped the Netball Queensland team quickly upskill with WordPress editing, while continuing to be available to handle those tricky or last-minute requests.

We also created Google Remarketing Ad assets to help promote upcoming home games and increase ticket sales.
